Ian and Ben

Ian has had a long and varied career in the climbing world. After a stint as a building society manager he decided the climbing & the outdoors were for him; Ian holds an MIC qualification and is a provider of SPA, CWA, CWLA and REC First Aid courses. He has a wealth of instructing experience with a wide range of clients.

Ian is also chair of the British Mountaineering Council’s Training and Youth Committee, and is on the BMC Expert Witness Register.

Responsible for overseeing the development of courses, staff training and the procedures we use to look after our customers, staff and equipment, Ian plays an integral role in the running of our climbing walls.

A New Entrance

Work has begun on our new entrance porch. It will be ready in three weeks, but in the meantime, the entrance to HCC has moved around the corner, through the Indulge Cafe.

Bank Holiday Opening

We will be open for climbing as normal this bank holiday.
Our hours are:
Saturday 10am – 8pm
Sunday 10am – 6pm
Monday 10am – 10pm (peak time all day)
We hope to see you at HCC over the weekend!
