Favourite Climbing Experience: Spending 30 days in the Pakistani Karakoram. We went into uncharted territory, exploring a region that no human had ever seen. We made the first ever crossing of a 5500m pass but unfortunately all summit attempts were thwarted.
Favourite Mountain/Route/Problem: Favorite route ever – got to be the North East face of Ha-Ling, a 450m trad route in the Canadian Rockies – 12 pitches of the best climbing I have ever experienced. So good I’ve done it twice!
Particular Interests: Long mountaineering routes in the greater ranges a long way from civilisation.
Often Found: Gritstone outcrops of Northern England
