Harrogate Climbing Centre are proud to host the Yorkshire final of the BMC Youth Climbing Series. The county’s best young climbers will be descending on the centre from 9.30am on Saturday the 21st of April to pit their talent against each other, have some great fun and decide who will move through to the grand final, held later this year at Ratho, Edinburgh.

As a result, the centre will be busier than normal from 9am until 3pm on the day, but the only areas not open for public use will be the main bouldering area and a selection of routes in the main hall which are specifically for the BMCYCS final.

We’re looking forward to watching some seriously inspiring climbing from the host of talented young climbers involved, and we with all the competitors the best of luck!

New NICAS Courses

The next block of NICAS courses will begin next week (starting on Monday the 16th of April). Whether you are new to the NICAS scheme, or are already progressing through the levels, give us a call now to book your space!

Family Beginners’ Course

Have you always wanted to learn the necessary skills to begin climbing, but never had the time away from the kids?

Or are you just looking to learn how to belay for your child?
Well our Easter Holiday Family Course will give you the opportunity to do both, whilst combining it with a great family activity for everyone.

Course details:
Maximum 2 adults 4 children
Consists of x3 2hours sessions (sessions to be booked subject to availability)
Full course price: £199
(minimum of 3 sessions required to be signed-off)
