Harrogate Climbing Centre hosts 66 indoor climbing lines, with an average of 190 routes set in the centre at any one time. Built by Entre-Prises Climbing Walls, HCC boasts an impressive 14 metre high ‘mosaic’ wall with constantly changing angles for a wide variety of graded climbing routes. Surrounding this are a vast range of other fantastic lead climbs and top-roping areas set with routes graded 3+ to 8a and beyond.
These routes can test the hardest of climbers, but we have ensured that there is also plenty to test mere- mortals too! We run regular re-setting, with a selection of the climbing routes changed every month, to ensure that there is always something new for you to try.
Our courses are mostly delivered on top-roped climbs, which allows students to experience the full range of the climbing on offer. Whilst controlling the exposure to potential falls, it’s still enough to get the adrenaline flowing!
After your climb you can visit the on-site Outside shop and adjacent cafe, so you can have a coffee and a cake and relax after your session!
